Brown County Historical Society Chapters

Sleepy Eye Area Historical Society // The Sleepy Eye Area Historical Society operates the Sleepy Eye Depot Museum and is open  May – November. Wednesday – Saturday 10am-4pm. Contact them for exact seasonal opening and closing dates.

Wanda Gag House Association // The Wanda Gag House is a chapter of the Brown County Historical Society and a immensely valuable tourist and educational attraction in its own right. Open May 15th, 2017 – November 2017 (check site for the opening and closing each season). Tours available year-round by appointment 507.359.2632 Saturdays 10 am-4 pm Sundays  11 am-2 pm.

New Ulm Public Library // We often co-host events with the public library including speakers, author visits, and children’s programming. Open Monday – Thursday 9:30 am – 8 pm Friday – Saturday 9:30 am – 5 pm

Springfield Area Historical Society // Springfield Area Historical Society is open during the summer on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, and by appointment only January through May.

New Ulm Chamber of Commerce // The New Ulm Chamber of Commerce is an excellent resource for information about the city of New Ulm as well as up-and-coming events. They host and plan many major events throughout the year as well as setting up city wide tours for groups.

Sleepy Eye Chamber of Commerce // The Sleepy Eye Area Chamber of Commerce & CVB is the best place to find a member or business in the Sleepy Eye MN area. They also have information on events in the Sleepy Eye area and other attractions.
