The Great Storm: Minnesota’s Victims in the Blizzard of January 7, 1873  by Guest Speaker Carolyn Sowinski will be the first installment of the 2024 Lunch & A Bite of History series. This is a FREE program located in the BCHS Museum Annex. Seating is limited and reservations are required.

On January 7-9, 1873, Minnesota residents experienced a violent blizzard when dozens of people died primarily on the State’s flat, tree-less prairies.
