The public is invited to Lunch and a Bite of History on Thursday, May 5th. Megan Schnitker of Lakota Made in Mankato, MN will share with us some tales of local plants.
She will talk about 5 local plants that are easily identified, their uses, and harvesting. She will also discuss how Indigenous people once used the plants and how they are used today. The goal of the presentation is to introduce these local native plants and provide Indigenous cultural & historical education.
