The Brown County Historical Society Invites You to Give the BCHS History Book Group a Try.
Do you enjoy reading books about famous people, places, and events of the past? Would you enjoy discussing such books with similarly interested people? You can easily do this with the Brown County Historical Society (BCHS) History Book Group.
The group meets in the museum annex the first Wednesday of each month. Participation is open to the public. One does not need to be a member to come to the meetings and share in the discussion. The regular participants pick the books; from time to time, each person is asked for their recommendations, guaranteeing a wide range of historical topics.
It is easy to participate. No phone call or signup is needed. Just go to the checkout desk at the New Ulm Public Library and ask for a copy of the current BCHS History Book Group book. Read the book. Meetings are currently being held in the BCHS Annex.
If you have questions, want more information, or want to participate, contact the BCHS Programming Coordinator at: firstname.lastname@example.org or call 507-233-2621
