The Brown County Historical Society Invites You to Give the BCHS History Book Club a Try
Do you enjoy reading books about famous people, places, and events of the past? Would you enjoy discussing such books with similarly interested people? You can easily do this with the Brown County Historical Society (BCHS) History Book Club.
The group meets in the museum annex the first Wednesday of each month. Participation is open to the public. One does not need to be a member to come to the meetings and share in the discussion. The regular participants pick the books; from time to time, each person is asked for their recommendations, guaranteeing a wide range of historical topics.
It is easy to participate. No phone call or signup is needed. Just go to the checkout desk at the New Ulm Public Library and ask for a copy of the current BCHS History Book Club book. Read the book. Participate in the discussion via ZOOM. (In keeping with COVID-19 limitations, the meetings are via ZOOM until further notice.)
If you have questions, want more information, or want to participate, contact the BCHS Programming Coordinator at: education@browncountyhistorymn.org or call 507-233-2621
